Today when I opened www.google.com, it was different. Something had changed but I was not able to figure out what was the change I was feeling. Then at last, I got it. The Google favicon has been changed. It’s not looking nice as I was used to seeing that BIG G instead of the small one which is being shown now. Previously the Big G was in Blue with green red borders but now the small g is in purple without the borders. But a grayish shade wraps the small g.
Here’s the graphical comparison between the old favicon and the new one.
The old favicon:

Internet Explorer to me is a very delicate browser. There are some major improvements in IE 7 but the base remains the same. People find it very difficult when Internet Explorer crashes and all the data is lost. Sometimes, the Internet Explorer keeps on crashing. There are several reasons behind this but the most common reason is the add-ons which are installed in Internet Explorer.
How to Find Out the Installed Add-ons:
Internet Explorer 7 includes an add-on manager which can be accessed from Internet Explorer Tools Menu –> Manage Add-Ons –> Enable or Disable Add-Ons.

Table of contents for PDF Converters
- Free PDF Converter Software Part 1
PDF (Portable Document Format) is the file format created by Adobe back in 1993 for exchanging documents. It’s advantage is that the document created in PDF format looks the same regardless of the Operating System, hardware or software. The PDF file includes all the images, fonts, text etc within the single file. Adobe Acrobat Reader is the best PDF file reader to me as I’m very comfortable with it. But when it comes to PDF creator or converter software, there are so many competitors in the market. Adobe also has a very good PDF creator called Adobe Acrobat Professional which is not free. As I’m a freeware junkie, I will list out all the PDF Writer software that I have used. I will try to analyze each and every of them.

Today my antivirus (NOD32 Security Suite) was creating troubles for me. After every five minutes, a request to debug the application would appear because the some module of NOD32 would crash and then reload. It has been a long time that I have been using NOD32. So I decided to test some other antivirus. There were two good choices for me. One Bitdefender and then second Kaspersky. The problem was that I didn’t want to buy any one of those. So I decided to use a 6 months trial of Kaspersky Internet Security which will be more than enough for me to test it. Here is my previous article about how to get Kaspersky Internet Secutiry trial of 6 months.
I downloaded it and installed it. It began scanning my PC. And to my amazement, it detected a threat [...]

I have been watching the extended trials that almost every security vendor is giving away. But I was never interested in the offers as I had a full version of NOD32 Internet Security Suite. That was more than enough for me. I have been using NOD32 for a long time now and I love it. It’s like set it and forget it. But it started creating problems for me today. One of it’s modules was crashing continuously. Instead of looking into the problem, I straight away decided to install and test a new antivirus. I didn’t want to buy a new Antivirus so I decided to opt for a 6 months trial of Kaspersky Internet Security which would be more than enough for me. And I also want to share with my readers about how to get 6 months trial of Kaspersky or Bitdefender. So here’s the process for the two popular antiviruses. [...]

Chiranjib from India asks about the Windows XP restart problem when booting. Here’s the complete problem he has mentioned:
Few days before my friends computer was not booting properly. When switching on the cpu it showed the manufacturer’s logo and option came like safe mode, start window normally. Last known good configuration. If any of the option selected the process restarts again and again. Safe mode option not effective too. It could not reach the desktop. Where may cd the problem?
This usually happens because some critical error occurs and the Windows ceases operation in order to save you from any hardware damage. This critical error is called Blue Screen of Death in the Microsoft world. There are two situations where you can get these Blue Screens of Death (abbreviated as BSOD):

For the past few days, I have been following with the latest malware called XP-antispyware. I was of the opinion that this is only spread via its own website and when downloaded and installed. But today it proved me all wrong. I was searching google and when I opened one result, to my surprise, another popup opened breaking all my popup blockers stating that my computer had some spyware and that I needed to scan for spyware using XP-Antivirus. I just closed the Window and another dialog box appeared which I captured:
I didn’t press OK. Just clicked the red Cross and everything was fine. I have NOD32 Security Suite and I have the latest definitions installed. It should have caught this dangerous page but it didnt.
XP-Antivirus is still new and can affect even with
