by Bilal Arshad in System on July 2, 2010

If you are looking for software which can hide your windows and processes from network administrator and from colleagues who can access your desktop then you are at right place, because I am going to tell you know about it.

WinHide is a program that quickly hides your working programs and windows. You don’t need to close your working applications, just hide it. The hidden programs are not displayed in the Taskbar, in Ctrl-Alt-Del list or in task manager and they cannot be activated pressing Alt+Tab, but programs continue to be executed. You can hide and restore programs using keyboard shortcuts, WinHide System Tray menu or the WinHide window.

You can set hotkeys for basic program commands: Hide/Show active window Hide/Show all windows Hide/Show a group of windows. You can specify groups of windows by their title text and set hotkeys for them. (For example, a group can comprise all windows that have ‘Internet Explorer’ in their title text.) WinHide can works in hidden mode, not making anyone know that it is there or optionally can put an icon in the system tray for a quick access.

after running the apps when you doublel click on winhide icon in the tray a white page will open like in picture 1, all short cuts are written in-front of running programs there you can change these shortcuts by double click on the shortcut, you can keep same shortcut for all the files you wan to hide at once

Thank you for your good explanation! However, this program I is not easy, since if I have many programs and applications open, I think super tedious, boring, and great loss of time, reconfiguring each for a same key combination, and thus be able to hide all once. But Thank you for your help !

Anyone knows another much simpler program for which one or maximum two steps, you can hide anything open? Thank you.
