Previously I have written about the cracked Windows Genuine Advantage. Today I want to write about Office Genuine Advantage Validation that has also been cracked. The latest version of the tool is 1.6.29.1. If you are having problems with the microsoft validation process, then you can use this tool to get rid of OGA. But please note that you should purchase the softwares in order to use them according to the copyright laws.
How to get rid of OGA?
In order to get rid of Office Genuine Advantage, you should have this funny thing installed on your system.
To install Office Genuine Advantage you should go to: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine
Validate your Office installation from the right hand side menu.
If you have a valid installation of Microsoft Office, it the validation test will pass otherwise it should report back that you don’t have a valid registration key for your Microsoft installation.
When the validation check is over, exit Internet Explorer.
Run the install.bat file from the downloaded file from below.
If it says 1 files copied successfully, go to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine and validate the Microsoft Office installation again. It should validate this time.
And if it says 0 files copied successfully, restart your computer and run the install.bat file again.

My latest auto Vista update installed genuine advantage which is OK for Vista but not so for my copy of office 2007 so I downloaded the office validation crack from your site which was OK until I rebooted so I downloaded your windows advanatge crack and I now no longer get the office 2007 genuine error. It didn’t work when I used Firefox to validate, but then i used Explorer and then if worked fine

It didn’t work as I am using Firefox as my default browser.
That Geniue web site asks me to install another plugin, and I did.
Then I followed your instructions.
At the end I use Firefox to revisit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine
it still ask me to purchase Office.
But if I use IE to visit http://www.microsoft.com/genuine
It says the validation is successful.
Strange.
If I open Word or Excel, that Geniue thing pops up again.
Which means I am still not passed the validation.
Any ideas?

I’ve tried all your steps but still the blue star appeared on my tray and after i restart it is still there. even after i uninstall and reinstall back, same thing. when i validate, its failed.
what could be wrong, is microsoft already overcome your magic? please come up with some other solution.

Sorry to say, but Office Genuine Advantage v1.6.29.1 was never released by Microsoft. This also applies to the WGA 1.8.32.1.
Latest OGA is apparently 1.6.28.0. MS has released a newer version 1.7.105.35 in january, but it seems they have revoked it.
Latest Windows Genuine Advantage is 1.9.9.0 (previous was 1.8.31.9)

Hi guys, my OS is XP SP3 and browser is IE. I tried both OGA 1.6.29.1 (Cracked) and OGA 1.7.105.35 (Fix). Both didn’t work. The blue star is still in the system tray upon reboot eventhough the validation is successful. Any idea if OGA 1.6.28.0 Fix is available?

For removing Blue star you have to use WGA 1.8.32.1
By using OGA 1.6.29.1, the MS Office becomes genuine but blue star remains there. Download WGA 1.8.32.1 from link as below for removing that blue star—-

Ferra, just look a few posts above yours from Sanix he has posted the new links. OGA gets rid of the blue star and the WGA doesnt affect any genuine windows either

Oh, I failed to understand that you have to apply both WGA and OGA in order for it to work. I have genuine XP so I thought I only needed the OGA crack. My star is gone now aswell. Thanks

i downloaded Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) 1.9.9.0 Fix
and and installed it .. then again installed Office Genuine Advantage 1.7.105.35 Fix… the blue star was there… i rebooted the system and now i don’t see the blue star in system tray … i hope it will not appear again if i reboot the system again …

Install the lates Office Genuine Advantage first then validate then reboot then intall the Windws Genuine Advantage then reboot. Make sure you have both the latest versions.

hi all,
I am a vista user. have original vista but office.
i tried, 1.7.105.35 fix which i downloaded here did not work.
then i used 1.6.29 fix and microsoft genuine checked ok. they thanked me for my using original copy. it was all ok.
but here is the problem:
though the microsoft website check is ok when i click on office programs i have blue star which is telling me that ” not an original copy”.
damn. nowadays u can not count on official microsoft website.
any solutions u know???

That renaming trick no longer works. Today, MS forcefully installed the updates to the computer and the blue star appears again… like a parasite.

yeah i tried the new update and it didn’t work so what i did was used a program called “move on boot” (free download from somewhere) and opened C:/windows and serched the folder for (WGA). when the search was done i right clicked on “Wga.exe” and selected “delete files on next boot restarted and hey presto it’s gone.

to remove file, first make a folder on desktop,
find file again “wgatray.exe” then cut it, Paste it in the folder you made on desktop, re-boot you computer, open folder and delete file, then delete folder,

This means that even though I was able to remove OGA but was not able to update my system. When I use your method it uninstalls OGA but when I want to update again, I have to install OGA again and it’s of no use.

When you come to do automatic updates, you just “uncheck Windows Genuine Advantage Notification”…

Yes. Don’t go to the Windows Update site.
You shouldn’t need to. Use the auto update service that is part of windows.
You may have to restart the service for it to work…

Just set Automatic Updates to download instead of automatic, then you can choose how to install them, custom or express.

okie … I had a problem as I had installed Office Advantage thing that gets installed with the windows update. I tried what was said here but didn’t work out for me. So what I did was I went to C:\Windows\System32 and from there deleted these files. OGAAddin.dll and OGACheckControl.dll . After that no validation problem for me. Hope this will be useful to you guys

hi,,, i used the above program… now the trouble is it doesnt let me go onto the Windows genuine website.
as soon asi go on the website and click on validate office… it goes to the next page and while the next oage is loading it stops and gives me an error message that – Internet explorer has closed this page to protect your computer. HOW CAN I UNDO THE INSTALLATION I DID FROM ABOVE FILE?? Because its not letting me even get updates from Microsoft’s website.
