For those users which have Nvidia Graphics Card, can have multiple options like more deskops, Nview properties, zooming, different effects while dragging and dropping windows and many more. The nView features are by default disable you need to enable them.
Go to Control Panel, open Nvidia Nview Deskop Manager. Click on enable.
Now you will have an extra menu when right clicking on windows on the taskbar. You can send it to another deskop, set it on top or change transparency.
But to have multiple deskops go to Desktops tab and then Add any other desktop.
You can have zooming and other windows effects by configuring other options

My Vista32 Install on;y shows the NVidea Control Panel when you go to control panel, how did you even find the nView deskTop Manager? If I could find that I’d be home free but apparently it did not install or is disabled by some other means…. Do you have any Ideas?
Thanks,
Rick
is nvidia actually bringing this back? it appeared on my windows 7 install, and i am thrilled to have it back!! been missing it for years. the weird thing is that it shows as version 111.50.
and the copyright is only to 2004, which is about the last time i saw it.

COMO CLAREIA O MONITOR??

Thank you so much for this info. I’ve been wanting this for a long time, and it was so easy! Click and set up the hotkeys and it’s exactly like my linux box, windows is greatly redeemed all of a sudden!
Another tool is Mosaico from Soulid Studio (www.soulidstudio.com). It’s a little bit different because you can arrange windows and take a “snapshot” to restore later. So you can have the same window in many “virtual desktops” (aka snapshots). It also do an automatica arrangement of windows that make them occupy all the monitor surface. And when you drag or resize windows it accomodates the other ones to mantain the monitor surface full covered.
