It can write protect the USB drives. Just Right the Tray icon and select Enable USB Write Protect. To Disable this function again right click and select Disable USB Write Protect
But this will be not be function on Active Drive. You need to Reinsert the usb drive to get write protection or start writing.

Dear Friend,
When i run this tool in normal mode ,then system restart again and again,what i do , I check 3 or 4 times, but the problem is still repeating.
plz give solution for removing this problem

i hav this virus problem in my desktop, it disables my task manager and other such vital functions and also disables all my virus protection schemes including smart antivirus .i can’t even run the program.i hav nortan also but even that is disabled.wat do i do?
firstly download avast 4.8 trial

& scan my computer
then keep system restore off & format ur system drive with ur os bootable cd…

OPen atleast 3 to 7 windows at a time>>or one after the other in quick sucession//then install a decent antivirus like mcafee(8.5i)/ scan the system with avg anti spyware

hi i tried this software, didnt work for me, i use windows 7, there is a file in the usb “UsbWriteProtect” and am not able to get rid of it, nor am i able to format the usb. not even low level.Please help
enter the regedit & u can get control set options in that options disable u r storage value 0(zero) & restart the pc
Superb. Light, compact, and works for removing unique viruses. AVG, Avira, BitDefender, Norton didn’t remove autorun.inf file, but Smart Virus Remover did with ease. No lengthy wait time. Simple, fast, effective. That’s everything i need. Keep up the good work. Just one problem, after removing autorun.inf and restart, the file came back (sometimes). But it’s ok as long as SVR can detect them.
I believe you can prove that you work for removing viruses, not making viruses and spread them and claims your anti-virus software is up-to-date. That’s what the others are doing. They suck.

will this kill autorun.ini – hidden in the win system32 folder – does anyone know if I kill this from running in the ram then delete the file – will stop the computer stop working on reboot -or will the reg keys stop the reboot since they are not fixed yet- vrius programs find the bug but not remove it
